BUSINESS CONSULTATION - conducted in your place of business to enhance all aspects of your professional life and reinforce finances, business relationships and recognition.

What happens at a BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL Feng Shui Consultation?

FIRST CONTACT:
    Unless you meet your consultant at a business or social function, your first contact with your Feng Shui Consultant will be when you phone to set up an appointment.

SETTING THE APPOINTMENT:
    It is best to arrange a time when there will be no interruptions. You will discuss this with your Consultant. A lot of information will be given so video taping or audio taping is recommended along with taking notes.

INTERVIEW:
    When you call to set your appointment your consultant will discuss what is needed to prepare for your consultation. Generally you will be asked to fill out a ”Consultation Questionnaire” or “Business Profile” and provide a floor plan and lot plan (where applicable). You will need to prepare one if you do not have one.

Sample Questions on questionnaire or profile:
1. What is the nature of your business?
2. How long have you been in business? At this location ?
3. What are your top three goals for this consultation?

   The average business profile is approximately 25 - 35 questions. The questions cover some history of the current or proposed business location as well as the past business location, information on the business its self (How is business since moving in? How did you choose this location? Have you ever tried to sell this business? What is the biggest current challenge? Etc.) and information on the neighborhood (Types of other businesses in the area? Are there churches, schools, highways near by? Parks or recreation areas in the area? How do you get along with the neighboring business? Etc.)
    The questionnaire or profile helps the consultant to better assess your business needs and helps you to be more aware of influences and events that effect your business.

THE CONSULT:

There are three parts to the average initial base consult.

   1. Initial visit: Site assessment, comprehensive client interview, discussion of basic
   impressions and needs/adjustments.

   2. In depth site analysis based on first visit which includes additional adjustments.

   3. Recommendation of any final cures, address any additional information that may arise.

Business Consultation Rates

Rates for a business consultation will vary according to the clients needs, the square footage of the location, travel if necessary and other factors. You can determine the approximate cost of an initial business consultation at the rate of $1.25 per square foot. Initial deposit of 50% is due upon signing contract (at least 3 to 7 days prior to first visit) This covers the base consultation which includes evaluating the building, the land and addressing any specific needs of the client at the time of the consultation. Initial consults are done in two to three visits (depending on individual client needs) two to three weeks apart. The first visit is to gather information and an initial site assessment. The second visit is to give more in depth analysis based on information gathered on the initial visit and the third visit is to complete the base consult and determine any additional needs. Additional work (i.e., Art selection and application, landscaping, selecting furniture, etc.) after the base consultation is billed at $360 per hour.
