      Rose Riot I (for deKooning)

Dimensions and Medium:    28" x 20"   oil on rag paper

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $1,200

The predominant colors of this piece represent the elements water blue; wood green; red fire.  They combine in a swirling productive cycle of water produces wood produces fire.  There is a pair of these roses.  They could create an excellent enhancement in the Kun gua.  The roses having feminine connotations would be right at home in this gua.

    Secrets (exterior view only)

Victorian wardrobe trunk drawer, clay roses, ribbons

Price  (Object no frame)  =  call

This is a piece that open and closes.  It is an intangible cure for the secrets deep within.  To me, the inside of the piece the secrets  - which are the "internal" knots of the cascading ribbons pulled through to the outside are more important than the outside.  The process of opening and closing the piece is a meditation of going from the external world to the internal one.  The piece was made from found objects, which have been transformed from junk into ceremony, demonstrating the power of transformation through creative and love.

          Where There is Smoke I

Dimensions and Medium:    5.5" x 8"  Watercolor on rag

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $360

This is one of two small watercolors.  So clearly flames, they can be used as a pair or separately as cures where the fire element could enhance the chi.

    Where There is Smoke II

Dimensions and Medium:     5.5" x 8"    Watercolor on rag

      American Beauty Rose

Dimensions and Medium:      40" x 32"    Oil on rag, collage

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $1,800

This piece is about self-love, containment and yet confidence or confidence actually in the containment of centeredness.  The predominate colors in the piece and the degrees to which they are used create a reductive cycle with the red of fire melting the pale, gray green metal which in turn can cut the least dominant green wood.  It is a piece about self-love but also about how self love can come from the reductive process of true humility simplification and the reductive process of forgiveness.

      Aguadia

Dimensions and Medium:      5.5" x 8"     watercolor on rag

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $360

This piece was done on the beach, under a palm with the surrounding environment of tranquil breeze and calming ocean.  It was done in a town in Puerto Rico called Aquadia where there is a wonderful health retreat that I was attending.  I was taking a cure as I painted the cure. This small watercolor could be applied anywhere that the element of water is needed as an enhancement.

      Wind and Water

Dimensions and Medium:      5.5" x 8"   watercolor on rag

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $360

This piece was painted in the same place as the one above.  To me, it personifies the definition of Feng Shui as wind and water.  Through the wind is the most subtle of ocean breezes, the emphasis on the palmıs slight shift is a meditation in itself.

     Water Cure I

Dimensions and Medium:       5.5" x 8"   watercolor on rag

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $360

    Theater of Friendly Flames

Dimensions and Medium:    Small theater of masonite, dowels, candles, canvas, oil paint, balsa wood

Price   (Object - no frame - self standing  =  $5,400

This piece is actually a construction of found objects.  The theater was actually a childıs toy, discarded in the trash and the puppets are cut from balsa wood, attached to dowels.  The stand is upholstered with painterıs canvas and the whole piece is painted with oil.  The image is a woman dancing in a friendly and dramatic way with the flames that could have once consumed her.  It is a cure about the loss of innocence.  It is a cure for a trampled spirit.  The colors and shapes are nearly all of the fire element.  It is a great cure for specific female tragedies, especially if the unhappiness intruded on the joy of childhood.  This piece is full of child-like fun.  It can give that spirit back.  It has real candles that can be lit as a healing ceremony.         Transforming Rose

Dimensions and Medium:    40" x 32"    oil on rag

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $1,800

Another piece about self- healing, but this one is wilder.  The rose is more like one found in an untamed garden rather than the cultivated "AMERICAN BEAUTY ROSE".  The color cycle is reductive with red as the dominant color of fire, next is gray, the color of metal melted by fire and the least important color is green for wood, which the metal cuts.  See the explanation for #5, "AMERICAN BEAUTY ROSE".

       A Tree in Brooklyn

Dimensions and Medium:     8" x 5.5"    Watercolor on rag

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $360

This watercolor is mostly a straight wood element.  The gold tint in the sky bring a hint of the color of the earth element, but as a strong wood enhancement might be the best use of this piece.

      The Glen

Dimensions and Medium:    8" x 5.5"     Watercolor on rag

Price framed (museum quality frame)  =  $360

This small watercolor is simply a quiet, shady glen.  The elements of water and wood give the productive cycle a nourishing turn.  This piece could be used where these elements are needed.  It also has a feeling of solidity, with the well-rooted trunks.  It could add an element of grounding to an area needing such.
